Pastor Bruce began pastoring at ALWC in October 2016 and is now our champion for connecting new and experienced church goers to each other and to the larger community. He is passionate about equipping and inspiring next generation of community leaders. He loves serving the community, the local church and seeing God transform lives. He is crazy about his family – wife Kim, a home educator extraordiaire – and his 5 kids who keep life mysteriously different everyday. Bruce has been in ministry for over ten years and began by volunteering at his home church with kids and youth. The call to enter fulltime ministry came and after much deliberation, the house was sold, the whole family was packed up, and they all moved to attend school. Bruce received his BA in Religion with a major in Pastoral Theology from Summit Pacific College in Abbotsford, BC and is excited to put to use the knowledge he has gained by ministering to the families of Slave Lake.
